How to Sell Like a Developer (AI Edition) with Lorenzo Edwards
What happens when a developer suddenly joins the sales team?
In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore sales and marketing through the lens of a developer — someone who thinks in systems, automation, and problem-solving rather than traditional sales tactics. Using AI as a powerful ally, we’ll look at how developers can approach sales challenges the same way they approach code: by building processes, optimizing workflows, and leveraging the right tools.
We’ll follow a fun scenario: a developer who knows more about mechanical keyboards and energy drinks than sales calls gets asked to close a deal. Can they do it? By applying technical thinking, AI tools, and a bit of creative automation, the answer might surprise you.
Whether you’re a developer, founder, or technical professional looking to better communicate and sell your ideas, this workshop will give you practical strategies to turn your technical mindset into a sales advantage.

What types of memberships do you offer?
Virtual: includes full mail service as well as one day pass per month and access to our community events and perks. Comes with conference room credits built-in.
Open coworking: includes 24/7 access to our building and the ability to work at any of our unassigned desks or lounge spaces. Comes with conference room and print credits built-in.
Dedicated desk: includes a dedicated desk where you can set up a fixed workspace + storage that is entirely yours. Comes with conference room and print credits built-in.
Private office: includes a fully enclosed, private space for your team of 1-10 people to work together. Comes with conference room and print credits built-in.
Do I get access to all Bamboo locations?
Yes! All members have access to all Bamboo locations. Members have a homebase such as Royal Oak, then get business access hours M-F 9-5pm in other locations. Credits easily roll over so you can book rooms anywhere, anytime.
How do your Membership Agreements work?
You can sign up to work with us on a monthly, 6-month, or 12-month basis.
If you aren’t quite ready for a membership, we offer day passes and conference room rentals.
What parking options are available?
In Detroit
- There is plenty of street parking within walking distance. Lots charge $2-10 a day. Free parking is available at nearby casinos. Inquire for latest parking dedicated rates.
In Royal Oak
- Street parking is free before 11am.
- You can also get two hours of free parking at the Center Street Garage behind our building ($0.75/hour after the first two hours)
- You can also purchase a parking pass for unlimited parking for $50/month.
In Ann Arbor
- Street parking is all around us
- There are a variety of dedicated parking options around us, ranging $135-200 per spot per month.
