Burn Bright, Not Out: The 7 Types of Rest Women Leaders Need

by Ashley Burton-Mims, founder of Emerald & Rose Consulting, where she empowers women and leaders to recognize and respond to burnout through workshops, coaching, and community-centered leadership development.

Many women in leadership and entrepreneurship are exhausted, even when they are getting enough sleep. The reason is simple: sleep alone cannot restore the many types of energy we use every day.

In this interactive session, participants will explore the seven types of rest and how each one supports sustainable leadership and entrepreneurship. Through guided reflection and discussion, participants will identify where their energy is being depleted and where restoration is needed most.

The workshop is designed to be practical and reflective, helping attendees reconnect with their capacity and leave with tools they can immediately apply in their work and lives.

Participants will walk away with:
• A clear understanding of the seven types of rest
• Insight into where their own energy is being depleted
• One restorative practice they can implement right away
• A simple plan for supporting sustainable leadership and creativity
