Led by senior software engineers, this session explores how AI is transforming developer workflows—shifting roles from coding everything to managing agents, and impacting team productivity and software development processes. Key topics include delegating tasks to AI agents, evaluating AI-generated work, and addressing challenges like context and security.

Participants will also get hands-on experience in small groups, building an app with AI tools and sharing insights on new workflows and techniques.

MySALT AI Founder
David Baird is a serial tech entrepreneur and founder of MySALT AI, an AI-powered social platform where he personally led the full-stack and mobile app development. He brings over a decade of experience launching startups, building engineering teams, and placing over $10 million in technical talent through his company, BairdTech. His work centers on AI-first development, using tools like Cursor, Claude, and Gemini to create agentic systems and scalable applications. David also hosts Vibe Coding events in Metro Detroit and speaks regularly on AI and software development.

Josh Crites

Josh is a seasoned educator, developer advocate and senior software engineer with years of experience helping developers master technical foundations. He has taught thousands through his work with ConsenSys and Celo, and now as a DevRel at Aztec. Josh designs learning experiences that empower devs to explore complex technologies through practical experimentation. His workshops bridge the gap between theory and application, making cutting-edge concepts tangible and usable for builders at every level.

Elizabeth Hansson

Detroit Blockchain Collective Founder & Executive Director
Elizabeth created the Detroit Blockchain Collective with the purpose of fostering blockchain innovation in Michigan through grassroots community and education. She is a digital asset advocate, ecosystem builder, and technology strategist with a background in decentralized systems and software engineering. Since 2017, she has led teams of blockchain developers and worked to bridge emerging technologies with real-world use.

Donovan Brown
Donovan leveraged his early experience as a CompTIA A+ Certified Technician to independently build a strong career in modern web development. What types of memberships do you offer?

Virtual: includes full mail service as well as one day pass per month and access to our community events and perks. Comes with conference room credits built-in.

Open coworking: includes 24/7 access to our building and the ability to work at any of our unassigned desks or lounge spaces. Comes with conference room and print credits built-in.

Dedicated desk: includes a dedicated desk where you can set up a fixed workspace + storage that is entirely yours. Comes with conference room and print credits built-in.

Private office: includes a fully enclosed, private space for your team of 1-10 people to work together. Comes with conference room and print credits built-in.

Do I get access to all Bamboo locations?

Yes! All members have access to all Bamboo locations. Members have a homebase such as Royal Oak, then get business access hours M-F 9-5pm in other locations. Credits easily roll over so you can book rooms anywhere, anytime.

How do your Membership Agreements work?

You can sign up to work with us on a monthly, 6-month, or 12-month basis. 

If you aren’t quite ready for a membership, we offer day passes and conference room rentals.

What parking options are available?

In Detroit

  • There is plenty of street parking within walking distance. Lots charge $2-10 a day. Free parking is available at nearby casinos. Inquire for latest parking dedicated rates.

In Royal Oak

  • Street parking is free before 11am.
  • You can also get two hours of free parking at the Center Street Garage behind our building ($0.75/hour after the first two hours)
  • You can also purchase a parking pass for unlimited parking for $50/month.

In Ann Arbor

  • Street parking is all around us
  • There are a variety of dedicated parking options around us, ranging $135-200 per spot per month.
