The Open Spoon is a new monthly gathering for community collaboration and creative connection. On the 2nd Friday of each month, 3–4 individuals from the community will share stories, art, food, or anything that sparks joy and connection. Rather than a formal presentation, this is an intimate circle for sharing inspiration and sparking creativity. After the main presentation, there will be space for shared creation and conversations, so everyone has a chance to participate and contribute.
For this First Month: We’re kicking things off with a low-key community creation session. Host Liz Barney will tell us a little about the inspiration behind this gathering, and then open it up to community voices to share what excites you, what you’d love to see in a storytelling and community creation gathering. Whether you prefer to sit back and listen, or share your ideas we welcome your presence!
