The Creative Connect is an evening dedicated to bringing creatives and small businesses into the same room to build real relationships, collaborations, and opportunity.
In partnership with Bamboo Royal Oak, this event is designed to connect creatives not only with each other, but with small businesses actively looking for creative support. From photography and videography to podcast production, mural work, graphic design, social media management, marketing, branding, and more — the goal is to strengthen the connection between local creative talent and the businesses that need it.
Whether you are a creative professional, entrepreneur, freelancer, founder, or small business owner, this space is for you. Come network with like-minded people, gain resources from local vendors and organizations, and hear insights from our panel of creatives sharing their experiences, perspectives, and journeys building sustainable work in the creative economy.
This is more than networking. It’s about building a stronger local ecosystem where creativity, collaboration, and opportunity can grow together.

What types of memberships do you offer?
Virtual: includes full mail service as well as one day pass per month and access to our community events and perks. Comes with conference room credits built-in.
Open coworking: includes 24/7 access to our building and the ability to work at any of our unassigned desks or lounge spaces. Comes with conference room and print credits built-in.
Dedicated desk: includes a dedicated desk where you can set up a fixed workspace + storage that is entirely yours. Comes with conference room and print credits built-in.
Private office: includes a fully enclosed, private space for your team of 1-10 people to work together. Comes with conference room and print credits built-in.
Do I get access to all Bamboo locations?
Yes! All members have access to all Bamboo locations. Members have a homebase such as Royal Oak, then get business access hours M-F 9-5pm in other locations. Credits easily roll over so you can book rooms anywhere, anytime.
How do your Membership Agreements work?
You can sign up to work with us on a monthly, 6-month, or 12-month basis.
If you aren’t quite ready for a membership, we offer day passes and conference room rentals.
What parking options are available?
In Detroit
- There is plenty of street parking within walking distance. Lots charge $2-10 a day. Free parking is available at nearby casinos. Inquire for latest parking dedicated rates.
In Royal Oak
- Street parking is free before 11am.
- You can also get two hours of free parking at the Center Street Garage behind our building ($0.75/hour after the first two hours)
- You can also purchase a parking pass for unlimited parking for $50/month.
In Ann Arbor
- Street parking is all around us
- There are a variety of dedicated parking options around us, ranging $135-200 per spot per month.
