Rooftop Coffee Party Opens June 2nd

The Deep End Cafe & Gallery is teaming up with Bamboo Ann Arbor to launch a special rooftop pop-up café running every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9AM to Noon throughout the month of June. This free, public pop-up experience blends culture and community over fresh-pressed juice, specialty coffees, and live music atop one of Ann Arbor’s vibrant outdoor coworking and event spaces.

Located at 200 S 1st Street, Bamboo Ann Arbor’s rooftop lounge will transform into a pop-up cafe featuring local DJ performances, fresh pressed juice and curated coffees, open to the greater public.

“The community is showing up for a good time in June at this month-long Rooftop Coffee Party,” says Candace Oceania Cavazos, founder of The Deep End Cafe & Gallery. “We’ve selected specialty featured coffees from small farms in Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico, many with unique stories and ties to Southwest Detroit natives.”

The Deep End Cafe & Gallery serves as both a platform and a sanctuary for artists, writers, and community members to share their work and stories. Its collaboration with Bamboo Ann Arbor brings this spirit into the heart of Downtown Ann Arbor.

“Bamboo’s mission is to support local entrepreneurs and creatives,” said Alexa Stecewicz, Community Director of Bamboo Ann Arbor. “We’re so proud to partner with our member Candance, who is creating a unique experience that adds culture and coffee selections all month. We welcome all neighbors, residents, and visitors to come join us on the rooftop in June.”

The pop-up is free and open to the public every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 9am-Noon at Bamboo Ann Arbor’s rooftop lounge. Visitors can enter in at the main entrance at 200 S 1st Street, to check-in and access the lounge. After Noon, attendees are welcome to stay and cowork at Bamboo for the day.
